Commissioner - Steve Climenhaga
Steve became the Commissioner of Prince Albert Minor Softball in the fall of 2020 after coaching several house league teams since moving to Prince Albert in 2014 with his spouse Darci and his two children. He has been involved in softball for over 40 years as a player, coach, fan and parent at the local, provincial and national level.
Steve has worked all across the province over the last 30 years. This has allowed him to see the important role volunteers play in minor sports across several communities within the province. Watching the efforts of many in the World Junior Men's held at Prince Albert in 2018 made his decision to take on a greater role in PAMSA an easy one.
Vice President - Ian Litzenberger
Ian has been involved in some form of ball for most of his life. Growing up in Southern Saskatchewan, baseball dominated most of his playing career, but the opportunity to play with the Atwater Steelers in a local tournament enhanced his love for the game of softball.
Ian is very active in the softball world, being involved with PAMSA and ADFO for many years. He also chaired the Project Triple Play committee and was a key piece in the 2018 Jr. Men's World Softball Championships here in Prince Albert. He continues to sit on the 2025 Sr. Men's Worlds Committee, the Prince Albert Softball legacy committee, Softball Sask as the District 8 director, and continues to coach in the Astros program when the opportunity presents itself. Ian and Shyla have made Prince Albert home for the last 15 years and enjoy their time in sports with their two children Makenna and Zane.
